This month, the community outreach team focused its efforts in-house to assist with the family reunification process and provide general RSD counseling for the Tel Aviv community. With the help of pro-bono lawyer and ARDC board member, Ian Jaffe, ARDC has aided community members seeking to reunite with family in the United States, Sweden, Belgium, and Finland. Next month, the community outreach team will hold an outreach event at the Ministry of Interior Bnei Brak to provide counseling on reopening asylum applications that were initially rejected out of hand for waiting more than one year to apply for asylum after entering Israel.
