Untold Stories of Success

ARDC is pleased to share with you this compilation of personal testimonies of asylum seekers in Israel. Please like the page and follow! This project resulted as a volunteer effort supported by ARDC and HIAS Israel. Its aim is to give voice to the marginalized community of refugees and asylum seekers in Israel, and share their individual testimonies of struggle, survival and success. From the contributors: In honor of World Refugee Day, we present to you this compilation of personal testimonies titled ‘Untold Stories of Success: Achievements of Asylum Seekers in Israel.’ Its aim is to give voice to the marginalized community of refugees and asylum seekers in Israel, and share their individual testimonies of struggle, survival and success. Their stories feature harrowing accounts of hardship and loss, but more importantly personal growth and public service. All of us who have had the pleasure of bringing this project to fruition hope that it will successfully highlight the innate humanity of these individuals and demonstrate their dedication and contribution to the societies within which they live. We also hope that these stories will serve as a source of pride for the refugee and asylum seeker community in Israel, providing them with a renewed self-image of strength, resilience and power.
