Introducing Babi

ARDC would like to extend a warm welcome to our newest team member, Babi Hailemichael. He is originally from Eritrea, and he has been living in and contributing to Israeli society for the past 9 years. He has been working as a chef and barista at a café called Lachmanina by the national theater of Habima for the last 5 years. Currently, he is in the process of becoming a student and recently applied to university for Business Administration and Economics.

About a year ago, Babi got connected to ARDC as a client looking for support. Now, he has taken on the role of Community Organizer and Youth Project Manager. He has an extremely warm presence at our community center reception. He has many skills that have been helpful to ARDC thus far. For example, he speaks English, Hebrew, Arabic, Tigrigna, and Amharic. Furthermore, he is able to work on the computer with applications such as Photoshop and video editing software as well.

Babi is a fun-loving and outgoing person who spends his free time being active in the community. One of his favorite activities is to play basketball in the park with his friends or with new people who become his friends. He is compassionate to all and always keeps his spirits high. ARDC is fortunate to have Babi as a part of our team. We are looking forward to all of the success he will bring.
