Looking back on 2016, ARDC surpassed many of our goals despite encountering a number of challenges along the way. Nearly 3,000 asylum seekers visited ARDC's reception hours
More than 1,400 out of hand rejections collected by ARDC with individuals informed of next steps and several referrals made
816 asylum seekers attended 20 community trainings and "Know Your Rights" sessions in Tel Aviv, Ashdod, Petah Tikvah, Beersheva, Netanya, Eilat and Holot
812 asylum seekers assisted with pursuing higher education or vocational options
More than 700 people attended 38 info sessions and tours to learn about the asylum seeker situation in Israel
515 asylum seekers received individualized paralegal assistance
400 socioeconomic surveys completed by our team during 20 events in 4 different cities
237 asylum seekers participated in vocational training through ARDC
87 students were tutored in subjects ranging from Developmental Algebra to GED Prep to Python coding
More than 20 asylum seekers successfully reunited with their families abroad
