Amy Aminah Teachout, Identity Claims Coordinator at the Asylum Application Assistance Project, has worked with Sudanese and other refugee communities in Cairo over the past 4 years. She is currently pursuing on a Master's of Public Administration at George Mason University, where her research focuses on the challenge of mixed migration and national security concerns regarding migration flows.
